Topsail Presbyterian Church will offer Confirmation classes on Sunday, April 19 and Sunday, April 26 for middle and high school students who are interested in affirming their faith and becoming members of the church.
Classes will meet from 9:15–10:15 a.m. in the Youth Building. During these sessions, students will explore the history, beliefs, and sacraments of the Presbyterian Church while growing in their understanding of faith and discipleship.
The class series will culminate in Confirmation Sunday on May 10, when students will be confirmed before the congregation during the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
Pastries and juice will be provided at each class.
If your student is interested in participating, please contact Leslie Blair, Director of Youth Ministry, at youth@topsailpres.org.

Each year during the season of Lent, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) lifts up the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering as a way for us to join together in responding to Christ’s call to serve our neighbors in need. Through this offering, Presbyterians provide practical support through three interconnected ministries: relief and recovery in the wake of natural and human-made disasters, efforts to alleviate hunger and systemic poverty, and programs that empower communities to address the root causes of injustice and build long-term resilience.
Over the past year, the Session and the Transition Ministry Team have worked to update the church’s Mission Study and clarify expectations for the next pastor.

In October, TPC celebrated our Interim Pastor, Rev. Steuart Link, expressing deep gratitude for his devotion to our congregation and his steady leadership during this time of transition. The Personnel Committee shared appreciation for sermons grounded in Scripture that speak to daily life and for the joy our children find in his engaging Children’s Sermons. As Head of Staff, Rev. Link has offered consistent guidance and support, fostering a cohesive and effective Session—always with moments of laughter and encouragement.
We thank God for blessing TPC with Rev. Link, whose ministry has been exactly what our church needed. While we know his time with us is temporary, we trust in God’s continued blessings as we seek our next pastor. We also extend heartfelt thanks to Sheila Link for her patience and partnership in ministry. The celebration concluded with cake and lemonade in the Gathering Room—an afternoon filled with gratitude, fellowship, and joy. Click here for the full announcement and photos.
